The States of Jersey Police works with the people of Jersey to preserve and enhance the Island’s well-established reputation as a place with low levels of violent crime and where people enjoy a sense of security in going about their daily lives. The States of Jersey Police, who have around 240 officers, also play a key role in maintaining the well-respected integrity of the Island’s financial services industry.
Police Headquarters, based at Rouge Bouillon in St Helier, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition, there is a small Western sub station based in St Aubin, and community officers for some areas of the Island.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
THE STATES OF JERSEY POLICE ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING ALLEGATIONS OF HISTORIC SEXUAL ABUSE.
We have launched a freefone number with the NSPCC for victims to call. It is UK based and is open to anyone who may have been affected by child abuse in Jersey. The line will be open between 9 am and midnight from Thursday 22 November 2007 onwards.
